Thomas had developed an event networking app that could run in any device and John was looking for something to enhance his company offering (John is the managing director of the technical production company Aztec Event Services). After a brief courtship they decided to set up a
new company with a trading name of EventIgnite.

As the conference app developed and the platform enhanced, they identified an additional opportunity – digital signage for events.
