Alison is an experienced exhibition and conference marketing professional with 17 years’ experience encompassing conferences, exhibitions, marketing and PR. She is as passionate about delivering exceptional events to both exhibitors and visitors as she is about travelling the world in her spare time.

As Marketing Director at Easyfairs UK & Global, she ensures best practice and effective marketing strategies across its event portfolio, including shows run in the UK, France, Algeria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Singapore, China, the UAE, and the US.

Ben Willcox, Event Technology Manager for British Gymnastics

Ben has over 15 years of experience in the live events industry, with a strong engineering background and a keen interest in all things technical.

As Event Technology Manager for British Gymnastics he handles the design and technical delivery of Sports Presentation at major gymnastics events, appointing and working with leading companies in the AV industry to transform a sports arena into a spectacular showcase.

Colin Rodger, Head of Event Management at DF Concerts

With 23 years experience in the arts and entertainment industry, Colin has been responsible for the planning and delivery of DF Concerts events from small club shows right through to Scotland’s largest outdoor event – T in the Park, since its inception in 1994.

Colin is also frequently engaged as a consultant on various outdoor events across the UK and Europe by other event organisers and sponsors. His considerable experience of working with artists and their production teams, councils and their licensing departments, police forces and emergency services is second to none.

With more than a decade of experience in the meetings industry, Dahlia has held roles on the planner side as well as on the supplier side. She has been known in the events industry as the ‘go-to’ source for tech news, social media advice and solutions for the busy event professionals. Her mission is to untether the busy professional from their desktop and office, and have them be more efficient and productive working from a beach in Mexico with an umbrella drink through their mobile device and smart solutions and apps.


Dave Cook, Chief Technology Officer at Clarion

As a respected speaker, writer and industry commentator, James has judged industry awards internationally and is passionate about educating the event professionals of the future. He takes an avid interest in promoting quality standards and professionalism in the events industry. He has been named as one of Eventbrite’s Top 100 Event Professionals in 2016. He has also been voted as one of 20 Industry Changemakers by US publication Meetings Net magazine in 2017.
